Woolfolk's, a father and son business, has been restoring furniture and providing custom finishing for over 30 years in the Santa Barbara and Montecito areas.

Joseph Woolfolk started his apprenticeship under Tony Shragel furniture refinishing in the 1960's in the same location as the finishing shop currently exists today. In 1980, Joe Woolfolk's mentor passed and he carried on Shragel's legacy for quality work by starting Woolfolk's Refinishing.

Passionate about restoring furniture and family heirlooms, Joe Woolfolk now specializes in this part of the business while his son, Isaac, focuses on the larger scale wood finishing projects. Isaac grew up working in the family business and has spent over 20 years perfecting the art of fine wood finishing. He has focused his attention exclusively on custom wood finishing for high-end residences. Isaac enjoys using the techniques and knowledge, that have been passed down for generations, when working with architects, contractors, and designers to create the perfect finish for the most discerning clientele.

By employing a team of skilled craftsman we are able to give both large and small projects the same attention to detail—providing clients with finishes that will be admired for generations.

“It is a honor to have worked on some truly amazing projects over the years and it’s been a privilege to work with elite architect’s and designers who really appreciate fine finishes.”
